Brand identity

The Google Cloud Innovators program is a new developer community that offers developers promotional benefits in exchange for their advocacy and adoption of Google Cloud services. It plans to differentiate itself from the competition by creating a unified and vibrant developer community by delivering seamless and superior experiences.

I had the task of creating and designing a collection of useful templates, foundational assets, and design principles to help Google Cloud marketers, and other Cloud orgs, stay on-brand when working creatively within the Google Cloud Innovators program assets. We created a foundational mark, that is human-centric and represents the community at scale and includes the coding brackets that make up the language of the community. We also created a customized grid which we used to develop a set of patterns that were used to create a variety of assets.

Program badges

Google Cloud Innovators badge designs are created to be bold, informative, and dimensional. Each badge incorporates the use of isometric illustration following the Google Badge design guidelines.

Every badge design is uniquely illustrated to capture a specific Innovators developer expertise. I created the four new badges as part of the brand system design.
